Don't go to this place during Oktoberfest. You'll pay double price and the service is not very polite.

Clearly 5 stars! If you do NOT like to eat a tourist, want to drink a hearty beer and also feel like Wagyu, this is the place for you. The Andechser am Dom was next to the Spatenhaus the best restaurant where we ate.

A new Bavarian. Economy, in the heart of Munich directly at the Frauenkirche, made rustic. You immediately feel good. Finally an architect and landlord who preserves the historical. Menu with a large selection and trendy dishes that are expensive. Typically Bavarian. Meals like roast pork cost around € 15. Beer is from Andechs and this is still cheap for Munich. E.g. Andechser Doppelbock for € 4.50. Staff quick and friendly. Sanitary facilities very clean. Mr. Krätz's economy is an asset for Munich!

One of the (if not actually the) best equipped restaurants in and around Munich. There is a huge selection here at affordable prices. The staff is always helpful, competent and extremely friendly. In addition, there is the very favorable connection to Munich's city center and thus to all means of transport. I make a clear recommendation here.

Only three because of the staff. Very good food, very nice restaurant and the beer one of the best, unfortunately the staff is incredibly rude and rude and that's a shame for such a great restaurant. On the first floor every time the staff was super friendly and nice but especially the woman in the entrance and on the ground floor in the back the 2 waiters who usually work there incredibly cheeky, a shame ... You have the feeling that they are doing you a favor, that they are give you a table and bring your beer. Top service and the draft beer is heavenly! But: the portion sizes could be a bit more generous and unfortunately the temperature of the food was only lukewarm on the last two visits. So, a little more "fire" please ;-)

One of the best biers and keiserschmaren that you can find in Munchen. With decent menu, frendly stuff and nice gardsn. Fact that is hard to get table there, states all for it self.

Excellent restaurant/gastropub serving good Bavarian food and lovely Andechser beer. I make a beeline for this place every time I arrive in Munich! Recommend this for anyone looking for the real deal and not just the tourist-friendly Bavarian food served in the big beer halls.

Located directly in the city center, you can almost expect higher prices. However, we left here completely satisfied and full ? Very attentive and friendly service. Very tasty dishes, decent portions and the feeling right in the city make the visit here perfect ?

Always worth a stop. The excellent meatballs were once again delicious. Even the location, which will soon no longer be new, fits in with the flair of the old location. Predicate Recommended.

Hostest invited us in, sent us upstairs for a table; no table available. Go back downstairs, they clean a table and then says that we will only have less than one hour to eat. Too pushy of a restaurant for my taste. We left without any service. Guy didn't seem to care for our business when I explained why we weren't staying. Recommend going to the two restaurants next door for better service.

Great place for outdoor drinks on a nice day!

We went on Christmas Day as we needed shelter from the rain and despite it being heaving with people at around 12.30, we were able to dry off under the awnings, and next to the heaters on their terrace. Was a little early for us to eat which was convenient due to every table being occupied and people queuing in the rain with their umbrellas - beware, there aren't that many quality places open on Christmas Day, even in the centre, so this was popular for a reason. Friendly staff and good, reasonably priced beer despite the restaurant being opposite the cathedral and in the middle of tourist central. Had we not eaten next door on Christmas Eve, we may well have stayed for a late lunch.

Had been for dinner multiple times with my friends - great steak, and typical Munich-style food.

For me one of the best typical Bavarian restaurants in the center. Place frequented mainly by local customers, during the weekend it is preferable to book well in advance to be able to find a place. Excellent beer and excellent first courses of tradition. The service is also fast and attentive. I advise.

Great service and fantastic beer in a superb location. I have visited Andechs often, so it was great to taste Andechs beer in a central Munich location. Very smart surroundings and comfortable atmosphere.

Very cute bar to grab a drink or two. The staffs are super friendly, the service is very efficient and the place is gorgeous. The ceiling is hand painted all around the restaurant and the interior design somehow is very morden but very traditional in the same way.
